About
I currently work as an independent researcher and founder for the International Center for On-Demand Education (iCODE). Although my research interests are varied within the realm of education, specific interests include the integration of emerging social technologies such as Second Life and Skype into K-12 and higher education instruction as an online learning platform. Theoretical frameworks of which I am particularly interested (which support online learning) include the Community of Inquiry (CoI) and Bloom's Revised Digital Taxonomy. Combined, these frameworks can be used to create higher-level thinking instruction that is engaging and fun.
I am also entering the area of on-demand learning which is equally as exciting. This emerging platform prompts new questions (thus new research) regarding instructional and graphic design, and assessment and evaluation.
